Accommodation
Can I stay with children?
Guests under 13 years of age are not permitted to stay at our guesthouse.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed at our guesthouse.
Is the facility wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our guesthouse is barrier-free and can be used by guests in wheelchairs.
What time is check-in until?
Please arrive by 9:00 PM.
If you expect to arrive later than that, please contact us in advance.
Can I check in before 3:00 PM?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, early check-in may be available depending on our schedule and room availability on the day.
Can you store luggage before check-in or after check-out?
We’re sorry, but we are unable to store luggage before check-in or after check-out. We appreciate your understanding.
Is early check-out possible?
Yes, early check-out is available. Please inform us at the time of check-in.
How many guests can stay in one room?
Each room is limited to one guest only at our guesthouse.
Facilities
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the guesthouse, including both guest rooms and common areas.
Is there a TV in the rooms?
There is no TV in the guest rooms. However, a TV is available in the shared common area.
Please feel free to use it during your stay.
Are washing machines and dryers available?
Yes, a washing machine is available free of charge. The dryer is available for ¥100 (JPY) per 30 minutes. Laundry detergent is ¥100 (JPY) per use.
Note: Please note that the number of machines is limited, and you may need to wait during busy periods.
Is a reservation required for parking?
Free parking is available (up to 10 standard-sized vehicles), but advance reservations are not accepted.
Note: If the parking lot is full, we may direct you to nearby parking spaces.
Is the parking area covered?
There is no roof over the parking area. It is an outdoor parking lot.
Is there parking for motorcycles and bicycles?
We do not have a dedicated parking area for motorcycles or bicycles.
If you wish to use parking for these, please contact us in advance.
Do you offer wheelchair rental?
Yes, we offer wheelchair rental.
Please note that the number of wheelchairs is limited, so kindly contact us in advance if you wish to use one.
What are the bathing hours?
The shower facilities are available from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM and from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
Please note that only shower facilities are available.
To avoid congestion, please use the facilities within these hours and be mindful of other guests by sharing the space considerately.
Our shared facilities are provided for the comfort of all guests. We kindly ask that you be considerate of other guests and share the space to help maintain a comfortable environment for everyone.
Do the rooms have a kettle or refrigerator?
There are no kettles or refrigerators in the guest rooms. However, they are available in the shared kitchen area, along with a microwave, toaster, and disposable chopsticks.
Drinking water is also available in the shared space for your convenience. Please feel free to use it.
What amenities are available?
We provide the following amenities. For other amenities, please see the Facilities page.
For a fee: Razor (please ask staff if you would like one)
Complimentary (not to be taken home): Toothbrush set, bath towel, face towel, cotton swabs
Are indoor clothes (loungewear) provided?
Loungewear is available at check-in upon request. However, sizes and quantities are limited, and we may not be able to accommodate all requests. Thank you for your understanding.
Are there lockers for valuables?
We do not provide lockers specifically for valuables.
However, each guest room can be locked. Please keep your valuables in your room and ensure the door is properly locked.
Do you have smoking rooms?
Our facility is non-smoking throughout the building.
If you wish to smoke, please use the designated smoking area outside the building.
Do the rooms have a bathroom and toilet?
There are no private bathrooms or toilets in the guest rooms.
The bathrooms and toilets are shared facilities, and both are separated by gender.
The shower facilities are available from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM and from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Please note that only showers are available.
Our shared facilities are provided for the comfort of all guests. We kindly ask that you be considerate of other guests and share the space to help maintain a comfortable environment for everyone.
Access
How many minutes is it on foot from the station to the property?
It takes about 30 minutes on foot from the nearest station, JR Oboke Station.
Do you offer a shuttle service?
We do not provide a shuttle service.
Please use public transportation or a taxi to reach our guesthouse.
Reservations & Cancellations
Can I make a reservation by phone?
We do not accept reservations by phone.
Please make your booking through our official website or other online booking platforms.
When does the cancellation fee apply?
Free cancellation with a full refund is available up to 2 days before check-in.
Cancellations made 1 day before check-in will be charged 50% of the total booking amount.
Cancellations on the day of check-in and no-shows will be charged 100%.
Payment
What payment methods are accepted? Can I use electronic money?
Payment can be made in advance through the booking site or at check-in. At check-in, we accept cash, credit cards, and PayPay.
Other Information
Is there a place to buy food within walking distance?
There is a small local grocery store, Boke Mart, near JR Oboke Station (about a 30-minute walk from our guesthouse).
For more information on local attractions and dining options, please visit the official Miyoshi City tourism website, “Oboke Iya Navi”.
Is there a convenience store nearby?
There is a convenience store, “Lawson Miyoshi Oboke Store”, about a 5-minute drive from our guesthouse.
Are there any day-use hot springs nearby?
There is a hot spring facility called“Oboke Gorge Inn Mannaka”, about a 10-minute drive from our guesthouse.
Another option is“Iya Onsen Hotel Hikyo no Yu”, about a 10-minute drive away.
There are also other day-use hot springs in the area, so please feel free to ask our staff for recommendations.
Do you sell food and beverages?
We offer instant and ready-to-eat foods, as well as bottled drinks. If you would like to make a purchase, please feel free to ask our staff.
Can I bring my own food and ingredients?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and ingredients.
Please use the kitchen area for cooking and enjoy your meals in the lounge area.
Is there an ATM nearby?
The nearest ATM is located at“Lawson Miyoshi Oboke Store”, about a 10-minute drive from our guesthouse.
However, public transportation in the area is limited, so we recommend bringing enough cash with you in advance.
Do you handle courier or parcel delivery services?
